Drill design / staging

My drill is written to maximize your students’ performance by taking into account musical responsibilities and achievability. My goal is to set up your students to be successful in both the achievement of their drill, and the communication of your show concept.

In addition to the visual design, I provide weekly video review/consultation, with the option of in-person rehearsal.

Let’s talk about how we can set up your band to achieve higher levels of success!

band choreography

The modern marching activity requires wind and percussion students to display skills beyond standard marching. I can provide custom choreography for your performers that is musical, achievable, and will enhance your overall visual package.

Choreography can either be taught in-person, or remotely via instructional videos.

clinics / consultation

I have taught at all levels of the activity, including BOA Regional and Grand National Finalists, UIL State Marching Qualifiers, and Drum Corps International Finalists. I’ve served as a judge at both the Region and Area level of Texas’ UIL circuit, and as a clinician for TMEA and ATSSB All-Region Concert and Jazz Ensembles.

My experience as both a band director and a designer gives me a unique perspective that can be beneficial to programs of any level.

Whether you’re looking for a fresh set of eyes and ears, or looking for tips to move your program in a new direction - reach out and let’s find a way to take your band to the next level!
